Ryan Long is a certified personal trainer (NSCA-CPT) since 2008. He’s a Certified Biomechanics Specialist (NESTA), USAW L1 Sports Performance Coach. He is also certified as a Level 1 Precision Nutrition expert and holds the level of Advanced Polarity Practitioner (APP). Ryan has coached various sports at Governor's Academy in Byfield, MA and Central Catholic High School for over a decade.
Ryan understands time constraints and pre-existing commitments/responsibilities. He has the personal experience to lend to tailoring a program to fit anyone's schedule or limitations.
Ryan is a life long resident of the Newburyport area. He has been an athlete his whole life. His passion was found and developed in both hockey and soccer. Ryan's hockey career took him to two seasons in the EJHL in the net, where his formal career ended due to back injuries. Which he had learned were completely avoidable had he discovered sooner the absolute necessity of proper strength development and bio mechanics. Fast forward many years while taking his life experiences and education, he has been aiding and guiding both competitive athletes and everyday athletes from ages 12-80 in developing a body and mind that is athletic, resilient, strong and capable for everyday activities or specific physical goals..
Let it be known, Ryan considers anyone with a body an athlete. "We all need to know how to use and develop our mental-physical abilities to navigate, dominate and enjoy our world fully."
Ryan feels we all have to start or restart somewhere and it’s his job to discover where that is with you to create the best plan forward to ensure your success.
